Volunteering

Hello again!
Sorry I haven't post anything recently. That doesn't mean I'm not doing cool things to make my life worth living, it means I have so much things to do that I don't even have time to come here.
This post will be about something that occupies most of my time (besides college): volunteering!

I love animals, so, the volunteering work I'm in obviously has something to do with animals. I do volunteering work for an non governmental institution called PRAVI, Projeto de Apoio a Vítimas Indefesas, which translated means something like Project Supporting Helpless Victims.
We take off animals from the streets and animals who are mistreated and we try to give them a new home where they can receive unconditional love and be happy.
For me, the time I spend with volunteering is so relaxing and worthwhile that it makes my whole day better, even if the rest of the day has been really bad. I think we all should do something that inspires us and make us want do better and better every day, and for me, PRAVI is that "something".

RECITAL DE VIOLONCELO MIKHAIL SHUMOV\

First of all, I'm sorry I took so long to post this.
It was an amazing experience! I loved it, and if I have the chance to do it again I surely will! I took some pictures, but the quality isn't really good, hope you can imagine how peaceful and classic the mood in the room was.

                     
    

Right when he started playing I recognised the cello song from the movie "If I stay". That's an amazing piece of heaven!
This "Out of routine" thing let me with an incredible will to learn how to play cello! Hope one day I get the opportunity to make such incredible music!

Don't forget to do something different today!

It's today!!!!!

Hello!

Today is the day!!! After a week trying to save some money, I was able to join 5€ to my first "out of routine event"! 

It's a cello recital :3 I was waiting for this for so long! I love music, it's going to be so awesome!!!! Can't wait!

After the Recital I'll post here my experience, but I'me sure it's gonna be so amazing!

Good night!

   Well first of all I'll present myself so you can see that  I'm just a simple girl with big dreams, probably just like many of you who will read this (someone will read it, i hope :p ).
   My name is Ana, I'm a portuguese girl (so I'm sorry for my mistakes writing in english, i appreciate you correct me everytime you notice I'm wrong!), 18 years old, currently studying Marine Biology in the University of Algarve. I don't like the routine in which everyone around me seem to be so comfortable in. For me i need to be different from everyone else, make something I enjoy and that makes me feel I'm really living my life and not just passing by this world without leaving any sign of my presence here. I'm a dreamer, I dream impossible things but I keep trying to make it real even though everyone says it's impossible.

   My point with this blog (as you might notice for the title) is making my life worthwhile and record every moment so I can live it all again when I get older (or in just a few days, yeah my memory is just that bad ;) ). I'll post here everything related with culture, music, dance, sports and whatsoever, as long as it doesn't belong to the "routine" of my daily life. I know money doesn't just fall from heaven, I've made a little thing to be on my desk to remind me to save some many to some of the things I'll do (yeah unfortunately theatres many times take money for the shows).
